Our concerts serve as a platform to remind believers of the partnership nature of growing in Christ. With the addition of the members of Clr Sound, we are able to share a wider variety of music, and share our individuals gifts more effectively.
The programs are designed to fit into a worship setting, and are 52-55 minutes long. They include MUSIC, a MESSAGE and an informal CALL TO ACTION. The programs can be adapted to fit into the time frame available at your particular church.
Recently we have expanded the avenue of my ministry. Since the songs that we share are uplifting and encouraging, they are songs that can, and should, be shared outside the realm of the church. Hope and encouragement are needed in the lives of all of us. We are extremely passionate about sharing this hope with others. We were brought together through our faith and the passion we have for music and sharing the word of God through it.
The messages of love, hope and encouragement are foremost in our music. We play Christian music, focusing on the words of the songs, in order to inspire those who hear them. We share our life journeys, in order to sustain and encourage others to continue to stay the course, and have faith in our Lord. Our goal is to also motivate those who hear us to discover their passions and gifts, and to use what they have been given to the best of their ability; to further the Kingdom of God.
I was born in Pakistan, but my name throws people off. My Father was a Christian, living in a Moslem country, with a Hindu name. In 1947, at the time of the partition of India into the two countries of India and Pakistan, he decided to change his name to a Christian name, even though it was not safe to openly be a Christian. In this part of the world Christians are still persecuted.
I hyphenate my name as a daily reminder of the legacy of faith that I come from, and to remember that we all have legacy of faith to pass on to the next generations. The vehicle for my legacy is music.
